Abstract

Prof. Dr. Hubertus Gersdorf was born on the 29th of October in 1962 in Hamburg. Since 2016 he holds the chair in constitutional law and  media law at the faculty of law of the University of Leipzig. From 1998 to 2016 he was the holder of the Gerd-Bucerius-endowed professorship for public law and communication law at the University of Rostock. Among other things his research focus includes fundamentally protected liberties, data protection law, gambling law, as well as regulation law.
