The workshop-style classroom course is designed to be interactive and is aimed at all researchers in the relevant disciplines.

Our service for you

The course teaches basic elements of research data management based on the DFG's checklist for research data. These elements include data categorisation, storage, archiving, provision, rights management, documentation, quality control and publication of research data. Using examples, we will jointly analyse research datasets with regard to their findability, long-term accessibility, reusability and citability. The course also aims to convey the value of responsible research data management and to show you the existing infrastructural support options at Leipzig University.
