Abstract
Julian Schmitz is a trained child and adolescent psychotherapist (behavioral therapy), holds a PhD in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology, and has held the professorship for Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology since the summer semester of 2016. In addition, he heads the Psychotherapeutic University Outpatient Clinic for Children and Adolescents, which is associated with the Institute.
At Leipzig University, he also holds the position of vice-chairman of the university ethics advisory board and is an appeals officer.
In addition, he is a board member and founding member of the Leipzig Research Center for Early Child Development (LFE) and a trusted lecturer of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation.
