t.e.a.m. UP 2024
The annual t.e.a.m. UP networking event 2024 offers you a wealth of opportunities to engage in dynamic discussion formats, build valuable connections, and gain in-depth insights into the t.e.a.m.-programme and the UNIBUND Mentoring Progamme between Halle – Jena – Leipzig. Don't miss this chance to expand your professional network and stay informed about key developments within the academic community.
The event begins at 1:30 pm with a conference session at Villa Tillmanns, Wächterstraße 30, Leipzig.
You can look forward to various round table discussions moderated by experts from academia. We are excited to present the following topics:
- „Digital Hate Speech“ with Prof. Dr. Julia Fuchs
- „AI in Practice: Identifying and Minimizing Biases“ with Dr. Maia George, and
- „Career in Academia“ with Prof. Dr. Ana Bastos.
These concise expert inputs provide you with the opportunity to engage in discussions and gain valuable insights.
Afterwards, at 3:30 pm, Rector Prof. Dr. Eva Inés Obergfell will open the ceremonial part of the event in the lecure hall of the Bibliotheca Albertina, Beethovenstraße 6, Leipzig. During this time, current mentees and mentors will be farewelled, and the baton will ceremoniously be passed to the new participants.
In the afternoon, it is time to team up – enjoy finger food and drinks while networking in a relaxed atmosphere, maintaining existing connections, and forming new networks. We invite you to share this special moment together.
Please register by September 14, 2024, and indicate whether you would like to participate in both or only in one of the programme parts.
All event venues are wheelchair accessible. The conference session will be conducted in English, and the speeches during the ceremonial part will be simultaneously translated in English. Throughout the event, we will provide childcare. Please let us know during registration if there is any other way we can support your participation.
