Contemporary witnesses and photographs by the renowned Leipzig visual chronicler Armin Kühne from the 1970s provide authentic insights into a time when same-sex love still had to take place in secrecy.

The exhibition "L(i)eben im Verborgenen - Zwischen Stonewall und der Ehe für alle" sheds light on an eventful history between the Stonewall riots and marriage for all, focusing in particular on the situation of homosexuals in the GDR.
