Overview

Research Training Group 2721 “Hydrogen Isotopes ¹²³H” is funded by the German Research Foundation DFG with 5.4 million Euro for 4.5 years and has been training over 20 doctoral researchers with its dedicated research and educational activities since October 2021.

Research

The Research Training Group Hydrogen Isotopes offers cutting-edge doctoral research projects at the interfaces of analytical, inorganic, organic, physical, and theoretical chemistry, chemical technology as well as material science.

Qualification Programme

The qualification programme was developed to provide ¹²³H-specific academic training, career-developing skills, as well as contact to the world-leading researchers. To this end, it offers three general types of educational activities: Study Courses, Fora and Science-related Activities.

Open Positions

¹²³H is hiring 14 funded doctoral researchers seeking to actively participate in an interdisciplinary, multinational research environment. Contribute to shaping the future of energy production, drug design strategies, and transforming radioactive waste into valuable materials. Start: 1 Oct 2024
